Nigerian students have begun reacting to the news that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has agreed to call off its eight-month strike following a successful meeting with the Federal Government on Friday.
The strike has grounded academic activities in the public universities since March.
The lecturers will be paid a total of N70 billion in earned allowances and for the revitalisation of the university system.
Some students on social media say they expect exams to follow soon after the strike is called off.
