One person has been confirmed dead and seven injured in an accident on Thursday morning involving a Mazda bus with 10 passengers and a tanker on Otedola Bridge in Lagos.
The accident, which occurred at the lane inwards Berger area of the state, is said to have caused heavy traffic that stretches beyond the state secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) tweeted saying preliminary reports say a Golf car was also involved in the crash.
It, however, said there are no casualties from the car.
Emergency workers are said to be on ground battling to save the situation.
