He started his musical career as a producer in 2003.
His debut studio album, No Guts No Glory, was released in 2014. It produced singles like ‘Ghost Mode’, ‘Man of the Year’, ‘Parcel’ and ‘O Set’.
As a producer, he has worked with artistes like Timaya, Flavour, Ruggedman, Bracket, J-Martins and Mr Raw.
Like his track ‘Alobam’ suggests, Phyno has been reppin’ the game by collaborating with his colleagues from city to city.

- Bullion Van – M.I
Chocolate City act, M.I, enlisted Phyno, Runtown and Stromrex in ‘Bullion Van’ for a massive hit. Phyno’s indigenous rapping skills murdered the track.
- Taking Over Me – Yemi Alade
Produced by GospelOnDaBeatz, ‘Taking Over Me’ was a chart topping single by Yemi Alade. The icing on top of this great track was Phyno’s Input. The video also showed Phyno rocking Ankara wears as influenced by Yemi Alade, which made female fans drool over him.
- Bombay – Wizkid
Wizkid’s ‘Bombay’ ruled Nigerian clubs and people sang along to Phyno’s verse.
- In My Circle – Olamide
Since the release of the hit track ‘Ghost Mode’ in 2012, any collaboration from Olamide and Phyno is deemed a club banger. ‘In My Circle’ was no different.
- Bless My Hustle – Chidinma
Ms Kedike also collaborated with Phyno for the track ‘Bless My Hustle’. Fans appreciated the collaboration and the song spread like wildfire.
- Vitamin C – Kcee
Five Star Music act, Kcee, featured Phyno in the 2014 track, ‘Vitamin C’. Phyno proved he is undoubtedly the man of the year by slaying the song.
- Anam Achi Kwanu – Illbliss
Anam Achi Kwanu’ is a track made in Igbo indigenous rap heaven. It was a combination of the best in the game- Illbliss and Phyno
- Ladi – Olamide, Phyno, Lil Kesh
Olamide, Phyno and Lil Kesh teamed up for ‘nonsense’ track ‘Ladi’. In the song, Phyno rapped in Igbo and Yoruba. Fans across the Niger fell in love with him more.
- Wiser – Flavour
Fans are bound to go crazy when M.I, Flavour and Phyno work on a track. That is exactly what happened with laid back ‘Wiser’.
- Ghost Mode
The hottest collaboration is ‘Ghost Mode’ by Phyno featuring Olamide. The track which was released on September, 25, 2012 was the beginning of great collaborations. It won Best Collabo at both the 2012 Headies and 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
