Real estate tycoon, Donald Trump, was elected America’s 45th president on Tuesday, sending shock waves all around the world.
Before entering politics, the 70-year-old was popular for the Miss USA pageants, which he owned from 1996 to 2015.
He also made cameo appearances in films and television series.

- Home Alone 2: Lost In New York (1992)
Trump made a cameo appearance in the sequel to the original 1990 film Home Alone, which he tells Macaulay Culkin’s character, who is lost inside New York’s Plaza Hotel (then owned by Trump), how to get to the lobby.

- Ghosts Can Do It (1990)
In this movie, Trump and Katie Scott (played by Bo Derek) are in a business meeting where she was receiving help from her husband, who is a ghost, and only she can see him. Trump won the Razzie award for worst supporting actor for playing himself in the fantasy film.

- The Little Rascals (1994)
The president-elect made a special appearance as Waldo’s (Blake McIver Ewing) dad in the family comedy. In his cameo, he tells Waldo over the phone, “You’re the best son money can buy.”

- The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1994)
Trump appeared in this sitcom that starred Will Smith. The 70-year-old made a cameo appearance in an episode titled “For Sale by Owner”. Trump, appearing as himself, visited the Banks family and was mistaken as a potential buyer of their Bel-Air mansion. Upon seeing him walk through the front door, Carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro) screams in excitement, “It’s the Donald! Oh my god!” while Hilary (Karyn Parsons) tells him, “You look much richer in person.”

5. The Associate (1996)
Trump appeared alongside Whoopi Goldberg in The Associate, the 1996 comedic film about making it on Wall Street, in which the businessman plays himself.
- Zoolander (2001)
The estate developer was one of many celebrity cameos that appeared in this movie directed by Ben Stiller. On the red carpet, Trump (playing himself) praises Stiller’s fictional character, telling reporters, “Without Derek Zoolander, male modelling wouldn’t be what it is today.”

- Eddie (1996)
The Donald as fondly called by first wife, Ivanka Trump, played as businessman in the 1996 film Eddie, which tells the story of a New York limo driver (Whoopi Goldberg) and devout New York Knicks fan who wins an honorary coach contest.
- Sex and the City (1999)
The New Yorker made multiple cameo appearances on the series, including the season two episode “The Man, the Myth, the Viagra” in which his friend (played by Bill McHugh), who is over 70 years old, attempts to seduce Samantha (Kim Cattrall).
- Two Weeks Notice (2002)
Trump appeared in a scene of Two Weeks Notice as himself. He hassles George Wade (Hugh Grant) at a cocktail party just before Wade is enchanted by Lucy Kelson (Sandra Bullock).
- Giuliani Time (2006)
Trump also appeared in Giuliani Time, a 1999 documentary film produced and directed by Kevin Keating about former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani. The film was released and distributed in 2005.
