The Miss World 2015 was crowned on Saturday, December 18 in Sanya, China. Miss Spain came out victorious out of the 114 contestants all over the world.
Other top finalists were Miss Russia, Sofia Nikitchuk, 22, who placed second, and Miss Indonesia, Maria Harfanti, 23, who came in third.

- Her name is Mireia Lalaguna Royo.
- She is a 23-year-old model from Barcelona.
- She is currently in college studying pharmacology.
- Royo hopes to one day set up a business specialising in nutrition and to “find alternative health solutions to orthodox medicines”.
- Her pillars of happiness include listening to music and travelling.
- The beauty queen is a skilled pianist. She studied Musical Language, Harmony and Piano at the Conservatory of the Lyceum of Barcelona up to eight grade.
- She has travelled extensively over Europe and the Far East.
- In her spare time, Royo likes to run, read and go skiing in the winter.
- During the competition, when asked why she should be crowned Miss World, she said, “I believe in a strong winner, I think I have something inside my heart, that I can show the world.”
