Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman, also known as Ruggedybaba, is 39 today, September 20. To celebrate his birthday, here are 10 things you need to know about the ‘Baraje’ lyricist.
- His real name is Michael Stephens and he is from Ohafia, Abia State.
- He is a graduate of Political Science from Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo.
- He is a die-hard Manchester United fan.
- Ruggedman launched himself into the music industry in 1999 and managed to become the most featured rapper in the early 2000 after he released the diss track ‘Ehen’.
- He has performed alongside international acts like KC & Jojo, Guru, Sean Paul, Wyclef Jean, Akon, Wayne Wonder, Ja Rule, Kevin Little, Maxi Priest, Kanye West, LL Cool J, T-Pain, Nas and Nelly.
