A 19-year-old young man Maduabuchi Okeke has died in Surulere area of Lagos while having intercourse with a sex worker.
Police said he died “on top” of the woman simply named Sandra at the Exclusive Mansion Hotel on Ayilara Street.
The sex worker is being detained alongside two security guards in the hotel Ottah Nduka and Aliu Tiwalola for allegedly smuggling Okeke’s corpse out of the hotel, police said.
It was gathered that in the evening of November 27, the deceased reportedly brought the sex worker into a room in the hotel for the night.
According to police investigation, one Ejike Naso who was asked to take the body to the hospital reported the incident at the Surulere Police Station.
“One Maduabuchi Okeke, aged 19, died on top of one Sandra (other name withheld) who is a prostitute at Exclusive Mansion Hotel,” a statement by the police read.
“Two security men in the hotel smuggled the corpse from the hotel and placed the deceased on one Ejike Naso’sNaso’s legs. They threatened to kill Naso if he told anybody how the deceased died.
“Meanwhile, the prostitute and the two security men have been arrested.”
The police said further investigation would be conducted before the body would be released to the bereaved family for burial.
