It comes a day after incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress (APC) obtained his party’s nomination form to contest for a second term in office.
Otedola, son of late former Governor Michael Otedola, had dismissed the idea of running for governor as recently as May 2018.
He said in a tweet back then: “The Governor of Lagos State is doing a commendable job and Lagosians should be proud of him.”
But Momodu, in an Instagram message in July described him as a future governor.
