Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu on Saturday paid a visit to the chairman, Senate Committee on Services Senator Sani Musa who is also a contender for the office of the APC national chairman.
Tinubu visited Musa in his Maitama, Abuja residence and assured the Niger East senator that he would be rewarded for his loyalty to the party.
APC will hold its highly anticipated national convention on February 26.
“The sacrifices of Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa for the All Progressives Congress in 2014/2015 will not go in vain, the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress are fully aware, Insha Allah, he will be rewarded,” said Tinubu.
The former Lagos State governor has been consulting stakeholders across the country as he looks to cement his claim on the party’s presidential ticket.
Earlier in the week, Tinubu met former military ruler Ibrahim Babangida in Minna, Niger State. He also donated N50 million to Niger State Government to support the fight against banditry.
