Afrobeat star Femi Kuti is remembering his father Fela Anikulapo Kuti on his posthumous birthday.
The 59-year-old celebrated the music legend in an Instagram post on Friday.
“HPBD to our father FELA. Wow 24 years gone and we still miss you so much. We love you,” he wrote.
Fela who was born on October 15, 1938, died on August 2, 1997. He would have been 83 today.
His now late elder brother Professor Olikoye Ransome-Kuti announced at a press conference the day after that the musician died from complications related to AIDS.
