Music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has proposed to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, days after confirming their relationship.
A viral video on Thursday captured the moment the 49-year-old bent to present a ring to Osawaru.
The two were seen dancing closely in the presence of friends before sharing a long embrace.
2Baba had sparked speculation earlier in the week when he made an unexpected appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly during plenary.
While some linked the visit to political matters, others suggested it was connected to his romance with Osawaru.
On Wednesday, the ‘African Queen’ singer publicly admitted to being in a relationship with the lawmaker following rumours that trailed his separation from actress Annie Macaulay.
He, however, clarified that Osawaru was not responsible for his marital troubles.
“Hon. Natasha has been dragged and called all sorts of names… She had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage,” he said in an Instagram video.
“Yes, I love her. She is amazing. She is cool. I want to marry her.”
