Singer 2baba Idibia on Monday night tendered a fresh apology to his wife Annie Idibia over unspecified reasons, causing a debate on Twitter about the real reason for the apology.
In his statement, the father of seven who is now trending on Twitter, said he was not looking for sympathy from anyone but he was only apologising for being a “shity” husband and father.
However, the 46-year-old who has on several occasions apologised to his wife over infidelity, did not reveal what incident triggered the fresh apology.
His apology has sparked another infidelity rumour on social media.
While some Twitter users claimed the singer was apologising for impregnating another woman, others speculated that he is promoting his new song.
