Sunmbo Adeoye, the mother of two of singer 2baba’s seven children, has spoken about being a young pastor’s wife, saying it was overwhelming.
Sunmbo said this in a message posted on Instagram on Thursday, adding that she decided to share her experience to inspire women.
She noted that the first edition of her annual women’s conference was overwhelming and she lost her voice. Sunmbo also said she has come to realise that the ministry is a “Faith walk”.
“During the 9th edition of the Annual inspiring change conference, I shared a few lessons from my experience as a young pastor’s wife called to inspire women. I am bringing this short clip here for anyone in ministry or business who need some encouragement.
“I know and believe God dropped that idea in your heart. I believe He called you for such a time as this but you are overwhelmed and don’t know if to keep going or just stop Well, I have come to realize that Ministry or Business, is a FAITH WALK. After you have discovered the vision, Your absolute dependency must be on God through Faith as you put in the work.
“Let’s try and see” won’t move the vision forward. You must be courageous enough to Move by faith with consistency …. Sit down with God to discover yourself and discover His vision for you, then MOVE You will succeed,” she wrote.
Mrs Adeoye bore two boys, Nini and Zion for 2baba also known as 2face.
The ex-lovers met while she was a student at the Yaba College of Technology in Lagos.
Sunmbo is now married to David Adeoye, the resident pastor of the Royalty Christian Centre Agege, Lagos.
