Pop star, 2face Idibia, was on Tuesday honoured with the title of Tafidan Kudenda, in Kaduna State.
The 40-year-old singer who was in company of his wife Annie and colleague MI Abaga took to Instagram to share the news
“From Kaduna with love. I’m so grateful and honoured! About to be crowned as the “Tafidan Kudendan” of Kudendan,” he wrote before his turbaning
2face was received by HRH Bagudu Galadima of Kudenda Kingdom at Kudenda Palace in Kaduna where the honour was eventually bestowed on him with lots of fanfare.
He also stopped over to pay a courtesy visit to the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai, wearing his full regalia.
The Tafidan Kudenda title, which means Ambassador for Peace, was bestowed on 2face in recognition of his humanitarian services through his NGO, The 2face Idibia Foundation, as well as his efforts to promote peaceful election through his #VoteNotFight campaign during the 2015 general elections.
