For the second time in two decades, France are the World Cup champions.
Les Bleus thrashed Croatia 4-2 in Sunday’s final to lift the coveted trophy.
A Mario Mandzukic own goal set the tune for the rout before Ivan Perisic restored parity.
Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe put the French side beyond the Blazers reach.
Mandzukic then attorned for his earlier strike but it came a little too late.
On their way to topping Croatia, France broke some records.
Here are three.
1 – Didier Deschamps joins elite club
Deschamps became only the third manager to win the title as player and manager. The other two are Mario Zagallo and Franz Beckenbauer.
