The social media space has since Monday been crammed with misinformation about the paternity of broadcaster Daddy Freeze after a preacher David Ibiyeomie claimed the former was a “bastard”.
Ibiyeomie attacked Freeze because of the latter’s criticism of his own ‘spiritual father’ David Oyedepo.
Ibiyeomie also claimed the OAP was a Somalian born on a ship, asking him to reveal his father if he has one.
Qed.ng brings to the fore three things the cleric should know about Freeze’s father from a post made by Freeze in 2016.
- 1. Daddy Freeze’s father Olarinde is a Nigerian who saw himself through school jumping from one scholarship to the other. He attended secondary school in Tema, Ghana and came back to Nigeria in the early 70s.
- 2. His academic journey to Romania was an accident as his initial desire was to study in Hungary.
- 3. Olarinde studied medicine in Romania and runs a private practice in Ibadan, Oyo State.
