The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has announced that 424 more Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia have arrived in Abuja.
NIDCOM chairman Abike Dabiri-Erewa tweeted that they arrived on Friday and appealed to Nigerians to refrain from illegal migration.
“424 more Nigerians stranded in Saudi have arrived Abuja. They will proceed on the mandatory 14 days quarantine. We appeal to Nigerians to desist from illegal migration,” she said.
Three hundred and eighty-four stranded Nigerians in Saudi Arabia earlier arrived in the country on Thursday.
According to NIDCOM, the returnees will be quarantined at the Federal Capital Territory Hajj camp for 14 days in line with the COVID-19 protocols.
“The returnees will join the 384 returnees that arrived yesterday and are currently undergoing quarantine at the Federal Capital Territory Hajj camp for 14 days in line with the reversed COVID-19 protocols by the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19,” the agency said.
