Super Eagles skipper, John Mikel Obi, has taken the digital community by storm barely two months after returning to social networking platform, Twitter.
The 29-year-old reportedly quit the 140-character messaging service in 2012 after being racially abused by Chelsea fans for his role in the 2-2 draw with Juventus in the Champions League.
However, the midfielder seems to have fallen deeply in love with the platform since his second coming – so much that he keeps his fans glued to their mobile devices.
Despite not playing a single game for the Blues so far this season and a possible winter exit looming, the Nigerian seems relaxed each time he tweets to his thousands of followers.
Although Mikel doesn’t do this too often when compared to other football superstars, his 68 tweets have exposed another side of his personality – which is the hilarious one.
Here are five of his best tweets since his return to Twitter.
