December, the month to be happy and merry, is finally here, and it will be double celebration for the following movies stars whose birthdays fall in the month of Christmas.
- Ramsey Nouah
The light complexioned actor who began his acting career in the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) soap opera, Fortune, will be 46 years on December 19. The Edo State born actor has since starred in numerous films such that he won the award for best actor in a leading role at the African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) in 2010 for his role in Kunle Afolayan’s Figurine. He is also the leading actor in Izu Ojukwu’s coup movie, 76, currently showing in Nigerian cinema.
- Uche Jombo
Wives on Strike actress, Uche Jombo-Rodriguez, will be celebrating her 37th birthday on December 28. The graduate of mathematics and statistics from the University of Calabar exchanged vows with her husband, Kenny Rodriguez, in 2012 and they both have a son, Mathew Rodriguez.
- Chinedu Ikedieze
Comic actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, also known as Aki, found fame alongside on-screen partner, Osita Iheme (Pawpaw). His 39th birthday is on December 12. Ever since his debut in the movie, Aki na Ukwa, in the year 2002, Aki has cemented his status as one of the most sought after acts in Nollywood. He received the Life time Achievement Award at AMAA in 2007.
- Odunlade Adekola
The tall actor has been able to carve a niche for himself ever since he graced Nigerian TV screens with his well interpreted roles. His 38th birthday on December 31 is sandwiched between Christmas and New Year. The Abeokuta-born actor has been able to cross over into the English speaking movies after starting out in the Yoruba genre.
- Femi Adebayo
The son of veteran Yoruba actor, Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello, Femi Adebayo shares the same birth date with his colleague, Odunlade Adekola. He will be 44 on New Year eve. The memories of his early works in the Yoruba trilogy movie, Owo Blow, in 1995 remain fresh in our head. The graduate of law and master’s degree holder in theatre arts from the University of Ilorin is now the special adviser to the Kwara State governor on arts, culture and tourism.
