The Lights, Camera, AFRICA!!! Film Festival returns for its eighth edition from September 28 to 30 and feelers coming from the organisers point to the fact that it’s going to be lit. Why? We already have five reasons why you can’t afford to miss the best film festival in Nigeria.
- It asks a profound question: “Who Do You Think You Are?” It was Socrates who said, “man know thy self.” Do you know yourself as a person, as an African and as a black man? Come discover a few truths and fresh insights
- Where did Pan-Africanism go? The fight against colonialism and apartheid fostered a strong African bond. With globalisation and emigration, that bond seems broken. What happened? Attend LCA 2018 and find answers.
- Three days make a long weekend. It starts Friday, September 28 and culminates on Sunday, September 30. Monday is a public holiday so the after party is going to be awesome.
- Films, Films, and more Films. At LCA, expect the best films from the best directors from the most unlikely of places. The surprise is the thing. So, come ready to be blown away.
- There is a new venue. The MUSON Centre is, well, the CENTRE of all things arts and this year the Lights Camera Africa 2018 moves from Federal Palace to MUSON. Expect a different vibe.
