Mountain of Fire Ministries FC (MFM FC) forward, Stephen Odey, has simply been exceptional this season in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The 18-year-old youngster, affectionately christened Robert Lewandowski due to his similar playing style with the Bayern Munich star, leads the goalscorers chart with five goals from just seven games.
Odey, will once again hope to continue his remarkable streak when the Olukoya Boys host defending champions, Enugu Rangers, on Sunday.
Ahead of that epic encounter at the Agege Stadium, we take a look at five things you probably didn’t know about the forward as provided by veteran sports journalist, Godwin Enakhena, who doubles as the club’s director.
- Crazy about Wizkid and Chris Brown
Odey’s first love is obviously football, but when he’s not doing that, the 18-year-old listens and dances to songs of Nigerian multi-award winning pop singer, Wizkid, as well as popular American act, Chris Brown.
