President Muhammadu Buhari is set to receive Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Althani, on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Emir arrived in Rwanda on Sunday for a three-day state visit with senior government officials and business executives from the Gulf state.
He is expected in Nigeria on Tuesday, three years after Mr Buhari visited Doha, Qatari capital in February 2016.
Buhari had attended a meeting of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
During a bilateral meeting with the emir, Buhari invited Qatari investors to take advantage of opportunities in Nigeria and invest in energy, agriculture, real estate development, banking and finance.
Special adviser to the president on new media, Tolu Ogunlesi, made a short video of preparations for the emir’s visit which he posted on Twitter.
