Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello might be set to dump the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of governorship election in the state in November.
Sources close to the governor said he recently ordered the removal of APC flags and banners from Lugard House, seat of the state government.
Bello has been at loggerheads with APC chieftains in the state since his assumption of power.
It was gathered that APC national secretariat has received over 10 petitions demanding that Bello should not be allowed the party’s ticket for his second term.
Reports suggest that Bello might be heading to Accord Party where he sought solace after losing APC governorship primary to late Abubakar Audu.
