Spanish giants, Barcelona, have sent a message of support to Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah, after injuries ruled him out of the clubs return match.
The La Liga side sent the message in a tweet on Monday.
“Games like these are for world-class players. Get well soon!” they wrote.
Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, had confirmed that the club will be without forwards, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, when they face Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final.
The Merseyside outfit will look to overturn a 3-0 deficit without two of their most lethal attacking options on Tuesday.
“They both are not available for tomorrow. It’s a concussion for Mo. He would not be allowed to play. He feels ok but it’s not good enough from a medical point of view. He’s desperate but we cannot do it,” Klopp told a news conference
Egyptian, Salah, was stretchered off the pitch with a head injury in Saturday’s 3-2 Premier League win at Newcastle United after a collision with Newcastle goalkeeper, Martin Dúbravka.
