Nigerian performer on America’s Got Talent show, Kechi Okwuchi, has announced the wedding of her childhood friend, Odinachi.
The 2005 survivor of Sosoliso plane crash revealed the wedding on Instagram on Tuesday.
Okwuchi also said she would be singing at the wedding which comes up in February 2020 in Texas, US.
“One of my besties is getting married y’all and their 1st engagement shoot FLOORED me 😩😩😩what kinda beauty is this!?? They’re glowing with the grace of God😭❤️😭❤️ I can’t wait to sing at #YoursSchulle2020 !! God, pls teach me how to sing while bawling,” she wrote.
According to the website created for the wedding, Okwuchi would play the role of one of the bridemaids.
Okwuchi said about her friend: “Odinachi and I have been friends since we both can remember, going all the way back to Aba, Nigeria. Our parents have been long-time friends, in fact my dad and her mum grew up together in Cameroon, so one could say that our friendship was inevitable.
“We spent our childhood in each other’s homes on the weekends and in the same grade school classrooms, year after year. We got separated in High school but never forgot about each other.
“After the Sosoliso plane crash that happened in 2005 in Nigeria, I moved to the States for treatment and it was then that Oddie and I reconnected again after she transferred from England to college in Texas to pursue her medical career.”
