Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has relaxed the 24-hour curfew in Kajuru local government area.
El-Rufai had in March imposed a 24-hour curfew on Kajuru following increased activities of bandits.
In several tweets on Friday, the Kaduna State Government said it had relaxed the curfew to 11 hours which is now from 7pm to 6am to take effect from Friday.
“The Kaduna State Government has relaxed the 24-hour curfew in Kajuru Local Government. The curfew hours are now 7pm to 6am with effect from today, Friday, 10th May 2019.
“The decision to relax the curfew follows a Kaduna State Security Council review of the security situation in the local government area,” the tweets read.
