Pop musician, Davido, has unfollowed indigenous rapper, Zlatan Ibile, on Instagram amidst speculations that the ‘Aye’ singer was not responsible for Zlatan’s release from the EFCC’s custody.
Zlatan Ibile has been keeping a low profile on social media since his release from detention but a check of his account reveals that Davido has indeed unfollowed him.
Davido also deleted his welcome back message to the singer.
Bloggers, Instablo9ja, had reported that Davido had hired a lawyer to facilitate the release of the musician and his friends.
However, associates of the rapper born Omoniyi Raphael have denied this, saying that Burna Boy and Olamide were the persons behind the release.
They were released on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, Naira Marley remains in the detention of the anti-graft agency.
EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade addressed this saying: “There is overwhelming evidence against Naira Marley; so we can’t afford to release him on administrative bail like Zlatan and the three others.
“That Zlatan has been released does not mean they have been discharged and acquitted. Naira Marley is still in our custody and will be charged to court soon and we will make the charges known in an official statement soon,” Mr Orilade said.
