Foremost Nigerian comedian, Ali Baba, on Friday said that telecommunication companies should be made to pay kidnap ransoms negotiated over phones.
The 53-year-old humour merchant said in a post on Instagram.
“By now all the members of the board of NCC should have been fired. Telecoms companies made to refund any ransom that anyone has paid once it is proven that the ransoms were were demanded over the phone.
“Once Telecoms company start refunding ransom demanded through their SIM cards, they will not only know the owners of the line, they will know their blood group, BVN number and meal of choice. Erhue!!!!!!! Lawlessness at its peak,” he captioned his post.
Last Friday, Ali Baba, had posted a video of a hotel in Maryland, USA with no room numbered 419.
Capturing the numbers on the entrance to the rooms, he showed numbers 414 to 421, however room 419 was conspicuously missing.
