Shadow Parties, a movie starring Nollywood actresses, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Sola Sobowale, is due for release soon, producers have said.
The movie, which also features two Hollywood actors, is already in the post-production stage.
Shadow Parties is sponsored by Media Concept Studio with production handled by seasoned filmmaker, Yemi Amodu.
Omotola plays the lead role opposite actor, Yemi Blaq.
Hollywood star, Lucien Morgan, best known for An American Wolf in London (1981) and Return of the Don (2016), plays a part in the movie as well as Magdalena Korpas, Polish-born Paris-based film and stage actress.
Other actors in the movie include Segun Arinze, Prince Jide Kosoko, Hafiz Oyetoro, Saidi Balogun, Sola Kosoko and Rotimi Salami.
A paradox of communal clash, Shadow Partiescaptures the endless political intrigues that would later transform into blood business of arms and ammunition and of course the killings of innocent residents, which is an exposition of reality.
Yemi Amodu explains; “This is a story on communal clashes; like the issue of the herdsmen. We have so many issues bordered on insecurity in the society that needs to be talked about. As a filmmaker, it’s my duty is to help society. Shadow Parties has a lot to do with society.
Shadow Parties which was shot across major cities in the south-west of Nigeria including Lagos, Ibadan and Ekiti is expected to be shown at major international film festivals across the world.
