Musician, Naira Marley, has made a court appearance as his trial over a 11-count charge commenced on Monday.
The ‘Issa Goal’ singer is being tried by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on 11 counts of fraud and cybercrime.
Presiding judge, Justice I.N. Oweibo, stood down the case some minutes after the musician entered the dock, to wait for his counsel, Mr Olalekan Ojo (SAN).
Naira Marley was arrested on May 10 alongside colleague, Omoniyi Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan, and three others.
Zlatan Ibile and the others were released on Tuesday last week.
EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade, said Zlatan and the others were released on administrative bail.
