Former Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has attended the valedictory session of National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, head of the nation’s economic management team, arrived at the venue at about 11:05am on Thursday.
The council comprises the 36 state governors, governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other government officials whose duties influence the economy.
The next NEC meeting in June will see new faces after the May 29 inauguration day.
Aregbesola, who possibly attended on invitation, announced his attendance on Twitter.
“Honored to have been part of the Valedictory National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja,” he wrote.
