Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, has been elected as the Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), umbrella body of governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
PGF made the announcement on Friday via Twitter.
Bagudu was unanimously elected at the meeting of the governors held late Thursday at Imo Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
He replaces outgoing chairman and Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha.
Bagudu, who is serving his second term as Kebbi State Governor, has promised to provide leadership for the forum to realise its collective vision.
