The Greenbelt police department have released a sketch of the suspected killer of Bettie Jennifer, wife of Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh.
The police released the sketch on Friday but haven’t named a suspect or a motive yet.
However, the law enforcement authorities believe the shooting was targeted.
Bettie Jenifer was walking to her car earlier in the month when a man armed with a handgun approached her before shooting her in the head.
The shooting took place in the parking lot of a Maryland office building.
Police described the suspect as “a black male with a thick build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and pants.”
The Greenbelt Police Department has since revealed that she was still legally married to a drug dealer.
According to the police, Bettie hadn’t legally ended her union to 47-year-old Kedrick Jenifer, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for importing large amounts of cocaine into Baltimore from Texas.
Kedrick ran a drug trafficking organization that distributed at least 450kg of cocaine in Baltimore and Woodbridge, Virginia.
The drug lord and Bettie were not legally divorced before she married Chris Attoh in October 2018.
