Comedian and television show host, Gbenga Adeyinka, has congratulated Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his inauguration as the governor of Lagos state.
In his Wednesday Instagram post, he described the inauguration as a “new daw” for Lagos state.
“A new dawn beckons . Congratulations and all the best your excellency @jidesanwoolu . Lagos will excel,” he wrote.
Sanwo-Olu was sworn in as the 15th Governor of Lagos State at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Onikan, Lagos Island.
Mr Sanwo-Olu became the 6th civilian governor of the state described as the nation’s economic hub.
Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Opeyemi Oke, administered the oath of office to Sanwo-Olu at about 11:40 am Wednesday.
