Policemen on Monday morning stormed the head office of Oando Plc at Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This follows an announcement on Sunday by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that an interim management team had been set up to oversee the company’s affairs.
The commission had after an investigation on Friday ordered the company’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Wale Tinubu, and other affected board member to resign.
Some of the company’s staff were forced to return home on Monday after encountering police officers at the entrance of the complex.
Security officers at the complex said in confidence that they were following orders not to allow some staff members of Oando access to their offices.
