Super Falcons of Nigeria have defeated South Korea 2-0 on Wednesday at the ongoing FIFA Women World Cup in France.
The first goal came in the first half when South Korean defender Kim Doyeon kicked the ball into her own net after being pressed by Falcons striker, Desire Oparanozie.
Asishat Oshoala made it two in the second half after a counter-attack by the team.
The team had lost 3-0 to Norway last Saturday.
The Falcons face hosts France in a crucial last group game on Monday.
South Korea, who face Norway in their third and final group match, have yet to score or earn a point.
Having qualified for the World Cup after finishing fifth at the 2018 Asian Cup, South Korea are anchored at the bottom of Group A with a goal difference of minus six.
