Obinna, son of former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has graduated from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
The young man was on Thursday joined by his father, a former governor of Rivers State, for the occasion.
Dressed in a dark blue suit and a green tie, Mr Amaechi posed for pictures with his son who wore his graduation gown.
Founded in 1965, Simon Fraser University is a public research university in British Columbia, Canada, with three campuses in Burnaby, Surrey and Vancouver.
Amaechi has often boasted that he invested in the education across levels while he was governor of oil-rich Rivers from 2007 to 2015.
He is on the list of former ministers who many suspect would return in President Muhammadu Buhari’s new cabinet.
