Pop musician, Tiwa Savage, has delivered a warning to companies owing her millions, threatening to expose them.
The 39-year-old singer made this known in a post on InstaStories on Monday.
”I might have to call out these companies that owe me millions. If you no get say you no get … no dey use style yan something else.
“I know how much revenue my brand has generated your brand, don’t even try it.
“You better SAN WO OLU. Na we get Lagos ooo check the contract,” she wrote.
While the companies Tiwa Savage is referring to are not known, in May, she signed a deal with global entertainment company, Universal Music Group.
The deal was sealed at the Universal office in California, those present at the occasion included music executives, Efe Ogbeni, Vanessa Amadi and CEO of Universal Music Group Worldwide, Sir Lucian Grainge.
Per the terms of her contract, Tiwa Savage’s music will be promoted in over 60 countries; it also makes her the first Nigerian female act to be signed to the label.
