Smooth Promotions has released the list of nominees for Headies 2015. The highly coveted award will be rewarding artistes from 22 categories.
YBNL Boss, Olamide, tops the list with eight nominations including Best Pop single, Rap Album, Best Collaboration (twice), Best Street-Hop Artiste, Album of the Year, Artiste of the Year and Song of the Year.
Wizkid follows closely with seven nominations for Best Recording of the Year, Best RnB/Pop Album, Best Pop Single, Best Collabo, Album of the Year, Artiste of the year and Song of the Year.
Yemi Alade is leading the ladies with five nominations including Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year, Hip-hop World Revelation Best Vocal Performance (Female) and Best R&B and Pop Album.
In special recognition for excellence and outstanding impact to the entertainment industry, veteran act 2Face Idibia will be presented with the Hall of Fame Award.
Achievas Music act, Solidstar, also made the list with two nominations in the Best Music Video and Best Reggae/Dancehall Single categories but he seems to think he deserves more than those two.
As usual he took to twitter to express his feelings on the matter.

Earlier this month, the ‘Baby Jollof’ singer expressed his displeasure with music awards when he blasted the NEA after he wasn’t nominated in any category.
“All these highest famzer gets nominated and highest bidder wins awards. I don’t need your nominations to know that I’m making Good music!l most of these Nigerian awards are just jokes! especially NEA!,” the Isoko native tweeted.
