Nollywood star, Ireti Doyle, has advised that talent doesn’t count for much if it is not supported with hard work and dedication.
The 52-year-old actress made this known in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
“Your extreme talent doesn’t count for much. If a million naira project is at stake, discipline, dedication and consistency will come tops any day. Nobody has time for bullshit; not in this economy,” she wrote.
In April, Ireti Doyle had advised actors to be thorough when negotiating with film producers over image rights.
A theatre art graduate of the University of Jos, Ireti Doyle produced and presented her own fashion and lifestyle TV show titled, Oge with Iretiola, for 10 years.
She also organised fashion shows and mentored many models.
She is, however, more popular for acting in movies like The Wedding Party, Fifty, Sitandaand The Arbitration.
