Rapper and singer, Skales, has said that his mother was a victim of sexual abuse and molestation by his father.
The 28-year-old revealed this in a tweet on Saturday.
“My mum was abused and molested by my dad but she still held it down for that madafaking nigga!!! Cz of me but that idiot still dipped with another woman and I refused to go with him stayed with my mum guess wat I was only 5yrs old but witnessed all that …she never spoke up,” he wrote.
Skales’ accusation is coming in the wake of rape allegations against the senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Biodun Fatoyinbo, by Busola Dakolo.
The musician has not been the only one to share a personal experience with sexual abuse.
Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi, also revealed that she was sexually abused by her lesson teacher while growing up.
