Celebrity photographer and skills coach, Busola Dakolo, has formally filed a complaint against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), The Nation has reported.
The mother of two had in an interview published last week accused the embattled clergyman of raping her as a 16-year-old old some 20 years ago.
Fatoyinbo, who denied the allegation, was forced to step down from pastoral duties in his church on Monday.
That came a day after protesters marched at COZA churches in Lagos and Abuja, calling for his arrest and persecution for rape.
With the filing of complaint, the police are expected to begin investigation into the rape allegation made against Fatoyinbo.
Busola and her singer husband, Timi Dakolo, have not publicly confirmed filing the complaint.
