Reggae icon, Majek Fashek, has been discharged from Abuja based rehabilitation centre, Synapse Service, where he was treated for substance abuse.
Details of his release her still sketchy but the star has been receiving visitors and is said to be doing well.
One of those who have vseen him after his release are Chairman of the Performing Musicians Employers Association on Nigeria (PMAN), Edo Chapter, Maleke Idowu.
Oil contractor and CEO of 911 Entertainment, Ayiri Emami, is reported to have paid for the treatment.
Majek’s friend and former band mate, Black ‘Rice, spent time with him in rehab in an unusual show of solidarity.
Benefactor, Emami, and colleagues like Charly Boy, Tony Okoroji and Monica Omorodion Swaida were some of his visitors during the two-month stay at Synapse.
