Each dressed in a bright white Oxford shirt and no pants, the powerhouse family looked flawless on the spread as the magazine deemed them Americas First Family.
While the cover turned out beautifully, not everyone felt it was appropriate to tag them Americas First Family, a title officially meant for the Obamas.
Aggrieved fans took to Twitter to condemn Cosmopolitan’s choice of words with some labelling it racist.
This is the famous family’s second spread together since they appeared on the cover of Hollywood Reporter in 2011.
Hey @Cosmopolitan THIS is #AmericasFirstFamily you tried it with that BS cover and owe the Obamas an apology! pic.twitter.com/TKFHbLq9sX

Some are missing the point. Cosmo's cover is incredibly disrespectful toward the Obamas and smacks of white privilege.#AmericasFirstFamily

If the Kardashian/Jenner's are what is representing America then we're really screwed. #AmericasFirstFamily
