A final year male student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has reportedly died by suicide after jumping down from the second floor of the Faculty of Arts building.
The incident was said to have occurred late Sunday.
The student who is yet to be identified was said to be a student of the Department of Actuarial Science, Faculty of Management Sciences.
It is not known if the deceased left a suicide note. Sources say he had been overdue for graduation.
Police have not made an official statement on the incident.
A 21-year-old student of UNIBEN, Christabel Buoro, had recently died by suicide over alleged failed love affair.
