Tears flowed freely as the remains of gospel singer, Evelyn Irikefe “Kefee” Don-Momoh were laid to rest at Okpara Inland of Ethiope East Local Government, Delta State on Friday.
It was attended by her husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, members of her extended family and friends.
Expectedly, her parents were absent.
Also in attendance were singers Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, COSON boss Tony Okoroji and comedians, Princess and I go Dye.
A candlelight service was held on Thursday at the Oba Akenzua Cultural Complex, Benin City in Edo State.
Guest, dressed in black, couldn’t hold back their tears as they bade her farewell and listened to sermons, songs and speeches rendered in honour of the late songstress.
Some of those who performed include Maleke, Benjamin Okorodion, Ifeoma Ikusemoro, Godfather and Asemota.
Kefee died on Friday, June 13, after slipping into a coma that lasted for 15 days.
She will be remembered for and hit songs and bright smile.
