Multiple award-winning Nollywood filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, on Friday joined the multitude of people wishing Kate Henshaw a happy 48th birthday.
Writing in an Instagram post, Kunle told his Roti co-star “Happy birthday sweetie.”
Kunle and Kate played a couple (Kareem and Diane) dealing with the loss of their son in the 2017 film, Roti, produced by Golden Effects Pictures in collaboration with Africa Magic Films.
The film, which also stars Kunle’s son, Darasimi Afolayan, and mother, Omoladun Afolayan, treats grief, reincarnation, hope, desperation and mental illness.
Described as a chilling psychological thriller, Roti has received plaudits for bringing out the best acting from Kunle and Kate.
