National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, shook hands with the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, at the presidential villa in Abuja on Wednesday.
The duo stood together and spoke after the presidential policy retreat at the presidential villa.
Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari; and Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State later joined them.
The House of Representatives had last week threatened to take over the Edo State House of Assembly which has been shrouded in controversies with several lawmakers-elect, reportedly loyal to Oshiomhole, still to be inaugurated.
It is not clear if this is an indication that the parties have resolved their differences.
