Senator Oluremi Tinubu has requested for employment slots from the immediate past minister of works, power and housing, Babatunde Fashola.
Mrs Tinubu, representing Lagos Central, is the wife of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, which Mr Fashola is a member of.
Tinubu said on Monday at Fashola’s screening before the Senate that she was hoping her constituents would get employment slots in Fashola’s team.
“Remember in your first tenure, I did not get the opportunity to get some of my constituents employed,” she said.
“When you get there this time around, remember that we senators have our constituents who ask us for employment.”
