Pop singer, D’banj, has unveiled the finalists for his The King Is Here rap competition.
With over 8,000 entries, the Koko master as he is famously called has shortlisted the top five finalists for the final battle.
The lucky finalists’ Instagram handle are @Officialbils, @aonethalyricist, @itsme_itse, @ola_dips and @tushkido.
In August, the 35-year-old announced that part of his 10th anniversary celebration will include a rap competition tagged where the winner will have the opportunity to feature on the remix of the track ‘The King Is Here’ with himself and Reminisce.
The winner of the competition will be decided through popular vote.
Followers will be given an opportunity to hear the top five songs short-listed through D’banj’s Instagram page.
Fans can vote for their preferred finalist by liking the contestants’ photos that will be reposted on the singer’s page. The finalist with the most likes will be announced winner.
